Yes — the upper is treated with a hydrophobic membrane that repels water, oil and most solvents while remaining breathable. They aren't designed for full submersion (you shouldn't be standing in puddles all day).

The outsole is heat-resistant up to 300°C for short contact (HRO rating), suitable for welding sparks, hot floors and similar exposure. They are not certified for direct flame or molten metal — for that you need an HI/CI-rated boot.

With daily 8-hour wear, expect 9–14 months before the outsole needs replacing. The upper and toe cap typically outlast the sole by 6+ months.

No. Every pair ships with our removable EVA+memory-foam insole, which provides arch support and shock absorption. If you have orthotics, the insole is removable and most third-party orthotics fit.
